"Now you hit it, and you hit it hard, this is the strategy’s mandate"

AM Series: Mark Østergaard, head of Nordics at US asset manager Neuberger Berman, spent 18 months presenting his client base to a strategy aimed at exploiting short-term opportunities in the credit market once a shock would inevitably hit the financial system.

"For the past 18 months, we have been telling clients that a shock to the financial system was inevitable. We didn’t know what the shock was going to be like, we just knew it would come. Many had pointed towards Brexit but most risk in that regard seemed to be already priced into valuations," Mark Østergaard, head of Nordics at Neuberger Berman, says to AMWatch.
