The asset management unit of Helsinki-based Nordea is making its pitch through The Big Exchange, a new U.K. investment platform that will offer funds pre-selected for social and environmental impact.

The exchange “fits perfectly our focus and ambitions” and “supplements what we already do,” Anders Madsen, head of institutional and wholesale distribution for northern Europe, said by email. Nordea is one of the exchange’s founding members.

Demand for investments that focus on environmental, social and governance themes has held up better than for many other assets during the Covid-19 pandemic, with new ESG funds being offered at breakneck speed.
