Survey: Top ten managers of institutional assets in the Nordics

Bank-owned asset managers from the Nordic region and US-based asset managers dominate the top ten leading managers of institutional assets in the Nordic region, according to survey.

The world's largest asset manager Blackrock is the top manager of institutional assets in the Nordic region, shows a survey by financial media IPE.

The industry titan manages EUR 65.3bn of institutional assets in the Nordics, according to the survey in which 49 managers participated.

Nordea Asset Management (EUR 61.6bn) is second on the list, followed by DNB Asset Management (EUR 53.7bn).

Fourth on the list is Swedbank Robur (EUR 44.4.3bn) and fith is State Street Global Advisors (EUR 38.2bn).

The remaining five managers in the top ten are Danske Bank Asset Management (EUR 34.4bn), Nykredit Asset Management (EUR 20bn), Northern Trust Asset Management (EUR 14bn), Nuveen (EUR 7.8bn) and Amundi (EUR 7.5bn).
