Tougher to find outperformers in FX and absolute return, Nordea's chief selector says
Fixed income managers faced hard challenges in 2020. They also deal with tougher scrutiny, get fired sooner but tend to outperform if given the chance to prove it, says Nordea's head of external products.

Several sub-sectors in the fixed income space have gone through a lot of rotation in the last year, one of them being investment grade. And it’s difficult to find outperformers in areas like FX or absolute return, but in order to retain your clients’ trust you need to be a clear and swift communicator, Anders Bertramsen, head of external products at Nordea, tells Citywire Selector.
