In March 2017, the founder of the world's largest hedge fund, Bridgewater Associates, Ray Dalio, announced that his US-based firm would undergo several personnel changes.
One of these was welcoming Carsten Stendevad to its Senior Fellowship Program. Dalio described participants of this program as "highly distinguished individuals" that spent a year at Bridgewater to "explore the firm's culture and lend their expertise and insights to the organization."
