Swedish and Danish managers partner up on Article 9 global quant fund

Bjarne Graven Larsen's Qblue Balanced joins Max Matthiessen-owned fund manager Navigera to launch a global quant fund that will get Article 9 classification according to SFDR.

Danish asset manager Qblue Balanced, founded by former ATP and Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan CIO Bjarne Graven Larsen, is partnering up on a fund launch with fund company Navigera. The Swedish firm is owned by insurance broker Max Matthiessen, which announced an asset management partnership with Goldman Sachs last week, as reported by AMWatch.

The partnership between Navigera and Qblue Balanced focuses on a fund called Global Sustainable Leaders. Investments will be made in businesses that have made the most progress on sustainability within their respective sectors.
