Private bank's wealth management chief sets up own shop – bags former employer as first client

Erik Penser Bank's head of wealth management is leaving after almost seven years to start his own business, but will keep close ties with his former employer.

Daniel Ljungström is stepping down as the head of Erik Penser Bank's 45-person strong wealth management unit, where he has worked for almost seven years.

In a letter posted on his Linkedin profile, Ljungström writes that he will start his own business where he, as a consultant and investor, will focus on "supporting smaller businesses."
