Bitcoin may yet see breakthrough, Norway's finance minister says

Although there may be greater breakthroughs in cryptocurrencies in the longer term, for now, they are "not a market I would recommend consumers enter," says Norway's finance minister Jan Tore Sanner.

The finance minister of Norway has appeared to break away from the chorus of Bitcoin critics, suggesting that cryptocurrencies will at some point move past their current volatility and experience a period of "breakthroughs."
