BNP Paribas launches ecosystem restoration fund

Manager sees an investment opportunity in an area that will "require investment of USD 22 trillion and create business worth USD 6 trillion a year." The fund will be co-managed by Danish manager Ulrik Fugmann.

French asset manager BNP Paribas is launching a thematic environmental fund focusing on ecosystem restoration. The fund offers exposure to companies engaged in the restoration and preservation of global ecosystems and natural capital, the company writes in a statement.
