
Futur Pension's long-time CEO Claes Carlson is stepping down in September and is being replaced by Torgny Johansson from Boston Consulting Group.
Carlson has been the CEO since 1998, when Futur was owned by Danske Bank’s pension business Danica Pension. The name change to Futur took place after Danica sold the Swedish operations to a private equity consortium consisting of Acathia Capital and Polaris in 2018.
