Growth fund raises EUR 200m for new vehicle alongside pension schemes and high-net worth individuals

The Danish Growth Fund has together with ATP, PKA, Jyske Bank and family offices raised EUR 200m (DKK 1.5bn) in the first closing of Dansk Vækstkapital III. The goal is total commitments of EUR 400m (DKK 3bn), to help the fund become a co-owner of up to 250 companies.
"Dansk Vækstkapital is part of the backbone of Vækstfonden's indirect investments, which since 2011 have been a collaboration between the state, pension funds, private investors and commercial funds to make capital available to Danish businesses. We have done that to a significant degree, and we are therefore very happy that we can reach yet another milestone in this strong collaboration through Dansk Vækstkapital III," says Rolf Kjærggard, CEO of Vækstfonden. | Photo: Vækstfonden
