Lannebo lays the groundwork for incoming CEO

Recent top-level changes at the Swedish fund manager Lannebo Fonder were made in order to leave room for the incoming CEO Jessica Malmfors to put her own stamp on the company's operations. Chairman Johan Lannebo believes the groundwork has been laid for future organic growth.

One of Sweden's biggest and most popular independent fund houses, Lannebo Fonder, has been quite active in recent months with a couple of key hires and some top-level reshuffling.

First, the firm pinched SEB Investment Management's head of equities Per Trygg during the spring, and shortly after, it announced that it was hiring Jessica Malmfors from Nordea Investment Management as its new CEO.
