Mutual fund investments in Denmark exploded during corona crisis

Negative deposit interest rates combined with less consumer consumption during the corona crisis may have led more Danes to increase their fund investments, according to an analysis by the Danish Central Bank.

Since August 2020, Danes have invested DKK 32bn (EUR 4.3bn) in mutual funds, the Danish Central Bank Nationalbanken reports.
