BlackRock launches fixed income ESG ETF

Investor demand to integrate ESG into bond portfolios is behind the decision to launch the new investment grade iShares ETF.

BlackRock's iShares is launching a bond ETF with an ESG focus. The fund tracks the Bloomberg MSCI Global Aggregate Sustainable and Green Bond SRI Index and offers exposure to the bond market across 70 countries and in over 30 currencies, the manager announces in a statement.
