Folksam hopes to boost diversification strategy by creating CIO role

In the newly-created role as chief investment officer at Folksam, Marcus Blomberg will be responsible for the life insurer's asset managers and governance. These were previously handled by Deputy CEO and Head of Asset Management Michael Kjeller.

On Monday, Swedish life insurer Folksam announced that it had created a new role in its asset allocation organization and brought in a strategist with years of experience from the pensions industry to take on the position.
