AP6 gets stricter ESG requirements

The Swedish Ministry of Finance has proposed regulation stating that AP6 has to act in a prudent manner through responsible investments and governance. It's the same legislation that was implemented for AP1-4 two years ago.

The Swedish government issued a proposal this week to update the legislation for national pension fund AP6, stating that the fund should get a new and clear mandate for investing sustainably and responsibly.
