Agreement reached for step 2 of Sweden's premium pension reform

The government called a press conference to report that the cross-parliamentary pensions subcommittee has finally reached an agreement. The official decision is expected Wednesday, December 22.

It’s finally done. Sweden’s cross-parliamentary pensions subcommittee (Pensionsgruppen) has reached an agreement to proceed with the second step of the premium pension reform, the move towards a public procurement process and a qualitative fund selection.
