European ETF industry shattered inflow records in 2021

Nordic institutions played a part as European ETFs saw record inflows in 2021, according to analysis by State Street.

European investor appetite for exchange-traded funds keeps on growing. In 2021, total net inflow for the European ETF industry amounted to EUR 169bn, which outstrips the previous record of EUR 111bn in 2019 by 52.25 percent, according to a new analysis by State Street SPDR ETF.
