SEB hires senior advisor for new wealth unit

Sweden's biggest bank has hired a senior advisor for its new private wealth management and family office unit, who returns to SEB after 17 years working at some of the largest wealth managers across the Nordic region.

SEB has hired Lars Bjerrek as Senior Advisor for its newly-established private wealth management and family office unit, Bjerrek has announced on LinkedIn. In addition, he will serve as acting head of private banking in Denmark.

Bjerrek joins SEB in Stockholm from Norway's largest bank DNB where he also served in an advisory role to DNB's Stockholm Branch.

He has previously worked with wealth management at companies such as Öhman (2010-2019) Nordea (2007-2009), Carnegie Investment Bank (2004-2007), and SEB, the place where it all began, from 1987 to 2004.
