Hasselgren returns to buy-side action at Coeli: "Their ambitious goal motivated me"

Today, Ulrika Hasselgren embarks on the role as chief sustainability officer at Coeli after a brief period at ESG data and advisory firm Arabesque. Returning to the buy-side for an asset manager with an "ambitious growth target" was appealing to her.

Just before Christmas, Swedish asset manager Coeli announced something of a prestige hire, when pinching Swedish sustainability profile Ulrika Hasselgren from European firm Arabesque. She had been there less than a year, having been recruited in March 2021 to work as partner, head of Nordics and head of Europe for corporates and sovereigns.

Hasselgren is Coeli's new chief sustainability officer and starts today, January 17.
