NIB launches environmental bond with strong backing

Nordic Investment Bank has issued its first DKK denominated environmental bond with backing from Denmark's biggest investors and asset managers.

On Thursday, Nordic Investment Bank (NIB) launched a new inaugural DKK 2bn (EUR 270m) 8-year environmental bond. This transaction constitutes NIB's first ever DKK denominated environmental bond and the 8th currency to be issued under NIB's environmental bond framework.
