On Thursday, Nordic Investment Bank (NIB) launched a new inaugural DKK 2bn (EUR 270m) 8-year environmental bond. This transaction constitutes NIB's first ever DKK denominated environmental bond and the 8th currency to be issued under NIB's environmental bond framework.

NIB's transaction was met with strong demand from the outset, with order books ultimately closing in excess of DKK 2.2bn (EUR 300m). The proceeds will finance environmental projects that benefit the environment and support the transition to more sustainable future.
