Swedish insurer invests EUR 350m in World Bank bond

The Folksam group wants to help finance projects combating drought and developing new renewable energy and biological diversity solutions.

Swedish insurance group Folksam is investing SEK 3.8bn (EUR 360m) in a new bond issued by the World Bank. The firm is the sole investor in the new bond, which will aim to finance projects in renewable energy, energy efficiency and biological diversity.
