Dane creates flagship concept at Europe's biggest manager

Last year, Amundi cemented its position as Europe’s biggest asset manager following the acquisition of ETF house Lyxor, which – combined with net inflows and returns – resulted in Amundi becoming the first European manager to pass EUR 2trn in assets under management.

Although the passive business push stole the limelight in the firm’s annual report, the 2021 statement also showed that actively managed products had a record inflow of EUR 56bn.
