Danish FSA encourages managers to "show a little restraint" when marketing green products

The Danish FSA, Finanstilsynet, has told asset managers to be more careful when marketing green products as the EU Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation falls into place. This comes after BankInvest was accused of misleading marketing by a consumer organization.

Head of Sustainable Finance at the Danish FSA Theodor Christensen has warned companies that marketing a product as sustainable when it does not live up to the EU’s Sustainable Finance Disclosure Requirements is a violation of that legislation, Danish financial media Børsen Pro reports.
