Storebrand after FSA critique: Representative reference indices are a general challenge for the industry

After an inspection from the Norwegian FSA, Finanstilsynet, Storebrand has been forced to make changes to information released about two of its funds.

The Norwegian FSA, Finanstilsynet, recently completed a limited inspection of Storebrand’s Storebrand Kort Kreditt IG and Storebrand Kort Kreditt IG funds. The resulting report highlighted that the track records of the funds had been presented as significantly better than they actually are, and that the information provided was potentially misleading.
