Storebrand AM hires institutional client director

The Norwegian manager’s Swedish division has brought in an experienced sales professional from Carneo.

Elias Cicek is the new director of institutional clients at Storebrand Asset Management in Sweden. He joined this month, having spent a year at Carneo-owned fund manager Carnegie fonder working with institutional sales. Prior to that, Cicek worked with institutional sales for almost three years at the Carneo group.

He also spent 11 years at Swedish insurance and pension company Skandia, where he served as a senior wealth manager as well as a financial advisor.

Announcing the hire on Linkedin, Cicek wrote that his new role is at a company that stands for sustainability, long-term thinking and quality within its asset management operations.
