UBS hires Swede to lead advisory committee

The head of sustainability at EQT will be joining UBS to lead its European ESG advisory team.

Therése Lennehag is leaving EQT after almost three years as head of sustainability to join UBS, Financial News reports.

Lennehag, a Swedish national, first joined EQT as head of responsible investing in December 2014, and also sits on the executive committee at the firm.

Her role at UBS, which she will start in August, will be leading the ESG advisory team in the EMEA region.

”Thirteen amazing years have come to an end – so proud of having been part of EQT Group’s transformation journey! Thank you to all brilliant EQTarians, the passionate portfolio company leaders, the great team at Invest Europe and all dedicated industry colleagues,” Lennehag writes on LinkedIn, adding:

”I look forward to a continued collaboration as I join UBS Investment Bank as Head of ESG Advisory EMEA in August. Let’s together shape the future we want and value the future for generations to come!”
