Danske Bank AM after departure of investment team: "The new hires will be just as strong"

Four portfolio managers who made up the EMD team at Danske Bank Asset Management have been poached by asset manager Janus Henderson, which is opening an office in Copenhagen.

Danske Bank Asset Management is not happy that four portfolio managers have jumped ship to British-American manager Janus Henderson, but expects to be able to find replacements that are just as good, says Christian Heiberg, head of Danske Bank Asset Management.

The announcement comes after Janus Henderson revealed on Monday that it had hired Bent Elvin Lystbæk, Jacob Ellinge Nielsen, Thomas Haugaard and Sorin Pirău from Denmark’s biggest asset manager.
