Swedish manager launches ocean fund

Entropics Asset Management, known in the Swedish market for its insurance-linked securities funds, is launching a global equity fund focusing on SDGs related to marine preservation.

Swedish fund manager Entropics Asset Management is launching Havsfonden (The Ocean Fund), a global equity Article 9-classified product investing in marine preservation and clean water.

The Stockholm-based manager, launched in 2013, is traditionally known for its funds investing in catastrophe bonds (insurance-linked securities) but this is its first ocean-focused thematic fund.
