Cliens poaches new CEO from rival fund manager

Fund manager opts for a Lannebo veteran to spearhead its future development, after its most recent pick ended up departing after less than six months.

Swedish SEK 28bn (EUR 2.7bn) fund and asset manager Cliens Kapitalförvaltning has appointed a new CEO, who starts on August 15, five months after Erik Andersson’s brief spell in the role.

Cliens has picked rival fund manager Lannebo’s Deputy CEO Martin Öqvist as its new chief, according to a statement by the firm.
