Danish Goldman Sachs AM star reaches new heights

In his new role, Michael Bruun will be global co-head of private equity within the US financial firm’s asset management unit, making him one of the most prominent Danes in the field.

Since 2004, Michael Bruun has been climbing the ladder at US investment bank Goldman Sachs. Now, aged 42, he is moving up another rung to become one of the most senior Danes in the private equity fund industry globally, writes Danish business daily Børsen.

In 2021, Bruun was appointed head of corporate equity for Europe, the Middle East and Africa, and he has now been appointed global co-head of private equity within Goldman Sachs Asset Management (GSAM).
