Riksbanken increases interest rates more than expected

The Swedish central bank is raising its leading interest rate by 1 percentage point and expects more increases to combat inflation.

On Tuesday, the Swedish central bank increased its leading interest rate by more than expected.

The increase is now 100 basis points, and the leading interest rate now stands at 1.75%.
