Climbing threat level leads Sampension to establish new independent IT unit

Sampension has hired a head of IT security from ATP to lead a newly established unit in an attempt to protect the pension firm’s systems and data. The plan is to hire more people, as it is a crucial area, the new lead says.

Danish pension firm Sampension has not yet been a target for hackers unlike many other firms, including Nordea, 7-Eleven and Danish state rail operator DSB.
