Half of global GDP vulnerable to biodiversity loss – but Danish pension fund engagement is still in its infancy

A UN biodiversity summit is currently taking place in Canada. As more attention is drawn to the issue, one expert says that Danish pension funds need to get started if they want to lead the way in the fight against this natural crisis.

Although Danish pension funds have generally been front-runners when it comes to the climate crisis, they have paid less attention to the natural crisis which several NGOs and experts have begun to say is more serious – the destruction of biodiversity.
