Positive December fund flows bring two Nordic countries into plus for 2022

Net investments into funds in Sweden and Norway were positive in 2022 despite negative financial markets in December. The story was different in Finland, and particularly in Denmark which suffered the most brutal year of the four.

Savers in Sweden and Norway invested heavily in funds in December compared to the rest of 2022, thereby creating a positive fund flow for the whole year.

Swedish funds lost a lot of money last year, but by the end of 2022, their combined assets were still three times larger than in 2010, the Swedish Investment Fund Association notes.
