Assets dropped by EUR 16bn in tough year for Finnish pension system

Expenditures in the Finnish pension system will rise briskly in 2023, an analyst from the Finnish Centre for Pensions predicts.

While assets in the earnings-related Finnish pension system dropped in 2022 due to difficult market conditions, contributions to the system grew by EUR 1.8bn compared to the year before, preliminary figures from the Finnish Centre for Pensions show.
