Nordic high-yield fund managers surprised by own outperformance

Alfred Berg’s Nordic high-yield fund has outperformed the leading Norwegian equity index for the last five years.

While higher interest rates and declining energy prices have knocked out the Norwegian stock market, returning barely 3% this year, the Norwegian asset manager Alfred Berg Nordic High Yield fund has more than doubled its returns, Norwegian business daily Dagens Næringsliv reports.
