Hollændere rejser milliarder til ny life science-fond

En hollandsk life science-investor, som tidligere har arbejdet med en række danske fonde, har nu lanceret sin fjerde fond med 2,7 mia. kr. i ryggen. Det er dobbelt så meget som den foregående fond og giver ifølge selskabet mulighed for markant større investeringer i særligt europæiske biotekselskaber.

Hollandske Forbion, der er blandt de største life science-investorer i Europa, har i starten af den uge færdiggjort kapitalrejsningen til en ny fond, der nu har milliarder af kroner til at investere i særligt europæiske selskaber. Det skriver Forbion i en pressemeddelelse.

Helt konkret har den overtegnede fond, Forbion IV, lukket med 360 mio. euro, eller små 2,7 mia. kr., hvilket er markant højere end de 250 mio. euro, man havde regnet med at rejse.
