The pressure to invest green: They thought we were shrill crazy

NGO Ansvarlig Fremtid has worked behind the scenes in recent years prompting Danish pension funds to invest greener. AMWatch has spoken with Thomas Meinert Larsen, who since 2014 has dedicated his spare time to influencing change among pension funds.

The first time the NGO Ansvarlig Fremtid made a proposal at an AGM at a Danish pension fund was in 2014. Since then, most pension companies in Denmark have gotten acquainted with the Danish NGO's main goal of ensuring more climate sustainable investments from the Danish pension funds.
