Nordic pension firms will combat ocean plastic pollution through green bond

Two pension firms in Denmark and Sweden believe that a new World Bank bond will generate good returns for pension savers and contribute to solving the problem of plastic pollution.

Denmark’s Velliv and Sweden’s Skandia are among the leading investors in a new green bond issued by the World Bank that aims to reduce plastic waste in the oceans as well as in vulnerable communities.
