Proventus Capital Partners is raising investment capital for its fourth direct-lending fund, according to LCDNews -- a news service run by S&P Global Market intelligence. The service, which reports on leveraged loans, analytics and index products, has spoken to various anonymous sources, which all point to Proventus being in the process of fundraising.

The timing fits in with the rhythm Proventus has adopted regarding raising capital for previous funds, which has taken place in 2009, 2011, 2014 and 2015.
