McKinsey: Sweden's AP funds should widen their investment expertise

The four buffer funds behind the Swedish state pension system - the AP funds - need to raise their expertise level as their investment mandates are broadened, according to a 2019 evaluation report of the AP funds by consultancy firm McKinsey & Co.

The Swedish finance ministry has been advised to ensure that the four AP buffer funds behind the state pension system are able to attract the right skills, given their now broadened investment mandate, reports investors' newssite Ipe.com.
