The Nordics' largest asset manager has made a deal with Varma mutual pensions to invest USD 240m (EUR 196m) in Nordea's Emerging Stars Equity Fund.
The mandate supports Varma's climate targets and contributes to the UN's sustainable development goals. Taking environmental and other sustainability aspects into account is especially important in the emerging markets, the EUR 47bn Finnish pension fund writes in a press release.
