Danish pension funds' returns from conventional and sustainable products tie in 2021

In the first seven months of 2021, returns generated by green pension products were on par with traditional products, according to a comparison.

There's no reason to not choose a pension product that has a "sustainable", "green" or "climate" certificate out of worry the product will not generate as much of a return as traditional products, states Nikolaj Holdt Mikkelsen, who is now an independent investment advisor and Morningstar's former chief analyst in Denmark, on the basis of a comparison of pension companies' returns up to and including July 2021.
