Client demand drives Qblue and Navigera’s foray into small caps

Qblue Balanced’s new fund launched in Sweden through its partnership with Navigera has been nine months in the making. The collaboration is a win-win, the partners tell AMWatch, while also discussing why a high portfolio turnover due to improved data is a good thing.

After launching the Global Sustainable Leaders fund in Sweden last year, it was a natural next step for Danish quant manager Qblue Balanced and Max Matthiessen-owned Swedish fund firm Navigera to start discussing whether to expand their collaboration by launching a small cap fund, Qblue founder Bjarne Graven Larsen tells AMWatch.
