KLP brings Norway ahead of green investment target: "If we stand idle by, we are not doing enough for the climate"

KLP has currently invested NOK 14 billion in the development of renewable energy worldwide. This provides both good return and positive climate effects in corners of the world where it is most needed.

KLP has currently contributed NOK 1.4bn (EUR 122.3m) to Norfund and the Norwegian Climate Investment Fund. They are currently the only Norwegian financial player that has mobilized private capital for the fund.
