Major Swedish fund manager will be looking abroad to increase flows

Handelsbanken Fonder had a weak final quarter last year, the fund company’s CEO says. One solution to being so dependent on the Swedish market may be to become more international.

The year-end report of Sweden’s Handelsbanken reveals a rather unflattering figure of SEK 0.0bn for the net flow in the bank’s mutual funds in Q4. There was even a slight outflow in its funds in Sweden during that same period.
