New European head of Nasdaq wants Denmark to emulate Sweden's exchange success

The Nordic stock exchanges are recovering, predicts the new European head of Nasdaq, who has ambitions for growth in both the number of IPOs and general share trading.

Growth is on the agenda for Roland Chai, the newly appointed head of Nasdaq’s European business, which includes Copenhagen, Stockholm, Helsinki, Iceland and the Baltics. His official title is President of European Market Services and he took office on January 1 this year.
