Swedish minister questions whether AP6 buffer fund is still needed

The Swedish state pension system is in need of reform, a government minister says. This may include combining the two pension funds, AP2 and AP6.

The government minister responsible for overseeing Sweden’s state pension funds has announced a review of the AP fund system to make it more modern and efficient. This may include abolishing the AP6 buffer fund as an independent entity.
