PFA to request mining company impact data

The companies extract metals and minerals that are important for the green transition, but their impacts on biodiversity and climate are unclear.

At the AGMs of selected mining companies, Danish pension company PFA will propose that they start reporting on the companies’ impacts on, for example, biodiversity and climate change and their approach to labor rights, says Rasmus Bessing, co-CIO, head of ESG investing, to Danish business media Finans.
